I try to make comparisons to other bands and albums in my reviews because I find that it is the easiest way to give people a sense of whether they will like the album being reviewed, but as is the case with most RORCAL efforts, you have to experience this to understand it. It is sludge and it is black metal and it has elements of other sub-genres, but the approach to songwriting is novel. Who else can take 14 minutes to get an album going and still own your attention? Utterly primal.

My favorite album by this band. It's dense and extremely heavy, but mesmerizing and hypnotizing at the same time. This definitely is an example of a band that deserves more recognition.
